Geological oddity makes good posing spot

Yoda, as a “Sit means Sit” trained (in training for life)dog will “Place” where I tell him.  While driving through Oak Grade Canyon, between Westcliffe and Canon City Colorado, there is an odd rock (in picture.)  It was apparently left by great water forces, ages gone by, and has a perfect place to sit.  It also has a hole through the top, and would make a great wood fired oven.  Wonder if it was ever used for that by natives?  It’s about 6′ in diameter, must weigh several tons.  It lies 1/2 way from the canyon bottom to the top on the north rim of the road.  Very interesting to me.20130309-235359.jpg
